Denis Kaye

Denis Kaye is the founder of the Yorkshire Leadership Group. He has over thirty-five years’ experience working with SMEs, professional service firms and not for profit organisations of all sizes, and a proven track record of improving their performance.

A well-known face in Yorkshire business circles, Denis has been working with owner-managed businesses and their owners in Yorkshire since 1985.

Denis is a chartered accountant and has worked in both the UK and Canada. He developed the Yorkshire office of a national accounting firm, of which he was national marketing partner and then regional managing partner. He then led a management buy-out and subsequently merged his firm into a regional firm which became the largest regional accounting firm in Yorkshire before he left in 2003.

He currently runs Firm Ideas Ltd through which he holds a portfolio of non-executive directorships and provides advisory services to private companies and professional service firms. He was deputy chairman of the Institute of Directors in Yorkshire and is a former non-executive director of Business Link.

Denis is not a typical chartered accountant!
