Facilitated peer group development

The peer group format gives members a unique opportunity to benefit from the experiences and skills of the group, whose only agenda is to help and support each other. It provides space to work on their businesses rather than in them.

Members come from a wide range of non-competing organisations and together they gain:

  • Support to make better decisions
  • New ideas on how to develop their businesses
  • The benefit of a peer group – it is no longer lonely at the top!
  • Exposure to current thinking on relevant business-related topics
  • A network of contacts

Our main group meets six times a year for a day. As well as the main group we run occasional series of special interest groups and in 2010 – 2011 those are:

  • Yorkshire Lawyer Leadership Group – for senior and managing partners in law firms who want to discuss the impact of the forthcoming radical shake-up in the provision of legal services.
  • Emerging Leaders Group – for new and rapidly developing businesses where there are too many things to do and too few people to do them. This group help each other not to make the same mistakes and enjoy learning some business basics together.
